No stats this month, she hasn't been weighed or measured by the pediatrician. I could attempt to do it, but I think it wouldn't come out right :) Here is what she's been up to lately...
* Eating...Last week we gave Lindsay some sweet potato flavored puffs. At first they were just entertainment; however, within days this girl is getting them in her mouth like a pro! We also gave her some avacado in small pieces; she enjoyed squishing it in her hand more than putting it in her mouth.
* Sippy cup...Lindsay's been using a sippy cup really well. She hasn't ever really taken to bottles, so we decided to skip it and go straight to sippy cup.
* Eyes are still blue; hair is growing! It sticks straight up in back, much like her Daddy's. And it is light brown and straight, no hint of a curl.
* Crawling... not just yet. She pushes up with her arms, goes from the sitting position to being on her tummy, although can't do it in reverse, and can spin in a circle. She hasn't figured out how to get on her knees and lift the backend up. Maybe by 8 months? We'll see :)
* Sensitive..She has been a bit sensitive in the first few weeks as a seven month old. She cries when anyone talks to her (except for a few people) or she will just stare and stare. It is a little awkward and we are hoping she will grow out of it.
* Childcare! Lindsay went to childcare during my Bible study class on Tuesday! It was the first time I left her with anyone other than the Grandma's, so it was a big step for the both of us. She didn't do too well the first time, but the second time I took her she did much better. I am hoping this will help her be more social too :)
* Sleeping through the night...not so much. She will wake up 1-2 times per night (lately more because I think she's teething). Maybe I can ask Santa for a good night's sleep for Christmas? Just kidding. I wake up anyways even if she's sleeping.
* Favorite time of day: Bathtime! However, she christened her new ducky bathtub on Sunday by pooping in it... I could hear Jarrett gagging in the bathroom. LOL.... It was hilarious (coming from the one who didn't have to clean it up or give her the 2nd bath).

And of course, my special Grammy Rosie, and Lindsay's Great Grammy.... We love you! xoxo
