Madison's 4th Birthday

Happy Birthday to our Darling Madison Grace!! She chose a family fun day to celebrate her fourth birthday this year, and we went to IHOP for breakfast and then off to Giggleberry Fair! I can't believe my baby girl is FOUR?!
Madison Grace, 4 years old
We woke up and went to IHOP by 8:30am, because our birthday girl is starving when she wakes up in the morning! And speaking of which, she was up at 5:06am and ready to begin her birthday! Thankfully, she was willing to snuggle in bed until 6:15... a little more reasonable time to wake up on a Saturday ;)
Helping Daddy "make" his coffee... two creamers and a splenda!

She ordered the Funny Face pancake with bananas and strawberries, then decided to eat Jarrett's breakfast instead.
We went to Giggleberry Fair at Peddlers Village in PA, which is just the girls speed.

Weee! Went down the slide a dozen times...

Played in the water and went 'fishing'!

Our little guy took it all in, and was such a good trooper all day!
Rode the carousel just a few times.... At first she was scared to go on a moving horse and wanted to go in the sleigh. Then the next ride she rode the non-moving horse, and the ride after that she got brave and rode the horse that moved.

Beautiful Four Year Old

Sweet Big Sis and best friend

The crew with the balloon flowers... one popped on the way home in the car and scared us to death!
After we got home we opened presents and blew out candles and ate sprinkle cupcakes!

I will post another update on Madison at four and the fun-filled, special girl she is!
Happy Birthday to our Beautiful Princess!! We love you! xo

Surviving a Blizzard, Fisher Style

Last weekend we had our first ever East Coast Blizzard! Here's our weekend snowed in...literally! Thank you to all our friends and family who checked in on us, we thankfully didn't lose power and stayed nice and cozy! What do you do with 3 kids all weekend inside?...

1. Bake a cake and have a Frozen Tea Party. This activity alone took up 2 hours.

My almost 4 year old girl ;)

She was pretty serious about creating her cake... been watch kids Baking Challenge on Food Network.

Mmmmm real tea!
 2. Get plenty of snuggles from this little man.

He turned 4 months on Monday...time flies!
 3. Periodically open the front door to see how high the snow is getting. This was only 1/2 way into Saturday. We got a total of 24 + inches when all was said and done.

Winter Wonderland
 4. Begin to strategise whether to dust the cars off before or after you shovel yourself to them....
 5. PLAY IN THE POWDER!!

All bundled up ready to go! It took us 15 minutes to get them bundled to go outside. Not too bad!

Maddie was outside for 5 minutes before losing a glove and she was over it. LOL
 6. Neighbors think we force our kids to perform child labor digging us out of the snow..
Big girl was helping Mama & Daddy

Daddy and his Almost 6 Year Old...

Look Mama! Snow is taller than me!!
 7. Enjoy some hot cocoa with marsh mellows!!

Winter's First Snow

It finally snowed here last Saturday, our first snow of the season! As I am typing this, we are suppose to be getting 12+ inches this weekend... winter's here at last! I like the snow, it gives me a reason to make hot cocoa with marshmallows.
Andy B's first snow!

Girls were SUPER excited and did some sledding!
My friend gave me this adorable bunting suit for winter and I was so excited to put Drew in it. Andrew was not a fan, mainly because it was 3 months, and our big boy is in the 6 month size. I squeezed him in just like the Mom in Christmas Story... he couldn't put his arms down either. LOL.
Little Mr. wasn't a fan of his bunting suit, otherwise enjoyed seeing the white stuff!

Happy Birthday to me, putting my new boots and jacket to good use!

Andrew Brooks, 3 months

Andrew turned 3 months on Christmas Day, but I am just getting around to blogging about it!
Andrew Brooks, 3 months old
Stats: 24.75 inches long
    13 lbs 12.5 oz
     Diaper size: 2
               Clothes: 6-9 months

* Eating: This month I left Andy with Daddy and Sisters while I went to a Dr.s appointment and they gave him his first bottle! He wasn't really hungry, and just chewed on it mostly, but his sisters were SO excited to feed their life-size baby doll. LOL.

He breastfeeds every 3 hours, and more in the evening. He's a gassy little guy, and we call him our "Rootin' Tootin' Cowboy".
We'll try again when  he's hungry. LOL
*Sleeping: Andrew will be awake for around 2 hours before he needs to take a nap. He's still napping in the swing during the day, and this month I am going to work hard to transition him to his crib. He goes to bed in his crib around 6:45pm/7pm and will wake up around 12:30am and 4:30am (yuck) before he is ready to get up for the day around 5:45 or 6am. He's all smiles and coo's in the morning and ready to play!
*Hair: It's been growing in on the sides and back, but is mostly a light brown and blondish.
*Eyes: Blue
Cutest Little Trapper Hat... it's been COLD here!
*Likes: Bathtime, his Play Yard (see below), when his Sisters talk to him or play with him, Tummy Time (sometimes), Cooing, he loves to interact with people who talk to him (ladies at church always get big smiles!),Standing on laps, putting his hands in his mouth, grabbing his burp rags and putting them in his mouth and being held outwards so he can look around!
Loves to use both hand to grab his dangling toys, but get frustrated when he can't bring them to his mouth. LOL.

Happy Boy LOVES his bathtime! He thinks it's pretty cool  to suck on the wet wash rags.
*Dislikes: Sitting in his car seat waiting for Lindsay after school, his pacifier, being over-tired and having his routine changed. Hates being hot, and will get sweaty and fussy!

Right before bed time tired stare.
* New Discoveries: Andy has discovered how to get things to his mouth and will put just about anything in his mouth. He's practicing grasping, and he will look intently as he grabs an object and concentrates on bringing it to his mouth. When he finally gets his slobbery mouth on it, you can see a big proud smile :)  He's been close to rolling, but not yet. He is trying really hard to sit up, and does mini-crunches to get to a sitting pose with Mama's help! Baby Boy chuckled for the first time when Daddy was tickling his tummy before a bath and it was adorable ;)

Playtime with my Sister's is the best!

We love you Andy B! You bring us joy every day with your sweet smiles, coos and chuckles!
