Madison Grace is FOUR!!

Our little Big Girl is officially four...

Stats:
Height: 37 inches
Weight: 27.4 lbs
Shoe Size: 7 Toddler
Clothes: 3T and some 4T
Hair: Light Brown with natural blonde highlights and a little curl
Eyes: Chocolate Brown with long dark lashes

*Favorite Foods: Pancakes, Oatmeal (when Daddy makes it!), Pizza, Princess Soup aka Campbell's chicken noodle with shapes, Broccoli with Ranch, mashed potatoes and gravy, quesadilla, queso dip, spaghetti, butter bread, any dessert...LOL. Dislikes: Mayo (so my child!), sometimes meat, cheese (only because big sister doesn't like it).

She loves to help me in the kitchen :)

*Favorite TV Show: Princess Sophia, Sheriff Callie, Paw Patrol

*Favorite Movie: Disney Princess Movies
*Favorite Song: Any..She will tell me when get in the car, "Let's listen to some Jesus music Mama!" She knows many contemporary Christian hits ;)
*Favorite Book: Lady Bug Girl, Big Hungry Bear and the Red Ripe Strawberry, Pete the Cat, Fancy Nancy *Calls our neighbor Nancy "Fancy Nancy"... she loves it ;)
*Friends: Lindsay, Azize and Samantha from CBS and Molly from Sunday School.
*Favorite Color: Pink or Purple
*Favorite Toys: Molly & Kitty (she still sleeps with them)
*Favorite Places to go: Community Bible Study, Chuck e Cheese, out to eat anywhere, Charming Charlies (girl likes to shop!) Church, any Park.

*Learning: Madison LOVES 'preschool practice' aka our learning time here at home. Together we have been working through the ABC Jesus Loves Me curriculum for four year olds and she is doing a fantastic job! I love her independent spirit, especially when we are practicing writing our letters. I model it for her, then she will try to write it. She'll tell me, "I can do it Mama, it's easy. I don't need help!" She knows all her upper/lowercase letters and almost all of her letter sounds; can write all her letters and numbers; count to 20. We will start working on sight words this month!

Working hard on preschool practice..she'll be ready in the fall for sure!

She showed me proudly how she wrote her name at CBS. Good Job Maddie!

*Spiritual: Madison amazes me at her heart for Jesus. I admire her faith, and she sees God in everything. From the "rain that makes our flowers grow" to God healing her boo-boos, she knows at her young age the Lord loves her and takes care of her and our family. She loves to recite her memory verses. It is precious to see her relationship with the Lord growing, and her desire to read the Bible to know Him better.

*What I want to be when I grow up:  "An Explorer. I want to go inside caves with a flashlight." or "A cowgirl" or "A Doctor or Nurse...blood doesn't scare me!"

*Personality: Oh my goodness, big things come in petite packages! She is our passionate child; whatever she does she goes for it with her whole heart. She loves big, gets angry big, forgives big, hurts big, sings loud, talks loud etc. She is 4 going on 14. She likes to ask us, "How old do you have to be to do _____? (Ride a bike, drive a car, carry a baby around the house, walk to school, ride the bus, cook on the stove etc.) Madison is highly competitive with her sister and brother, and loves to "poke the bear". She's not into silence or quietness; Madison wakes up at 6am ready (wish I could harness that energy!) to start her day with a full conversation, including what she wants for breakfast. Maddie is thoughtful; she will ask Lindsay how her day went and give her a big hug or say a prayer for her if she had a rough day. She can hold her own with Big Sis, and will let her boss her around for a bit, then look out :) 

We are so blessed to have Madison for our daughter; she is a delight, a joy and is our spirited, fun-loving, adventurous precious girl. Love you Tater Tot!!
