Lindsay's 6th Bowling Birthday Party

Lindsay Diane, 6 years old
Happy 6th Birthday Lindsay Loo! The birthday girl really wanted a birthday party outside our house this year, and February in NJ there just a few indoor options ;) She remembered a couple years ago (elephant memory) that we went bowling and said, "A bowling party sounds like fun!" She invited 10 of her closest friends from kindergarten and preschool and they had a blast!

Beautiful Sissy's
We had our own room that she wanted to decorate in rainbow colors. She helped me put goodies in the take-away bags, and thoughtfully gave each of her friends their favorite color bag. The big hits were the glitter goo and notepad and pens ;)

Thank you Auntie Sarah for the cute party dress!
The shots I got of them on the lanes didn't turn out great because of no lights and lots of motion, but the look on her face says it all...super dooper fun!! This was the first birthday that the kids were dropped off, so our hands were full with crazy 6 year olds ;)
6 lbs balls and gutter guards= kindergarten friendly bowling

Lindsay and her besties
There wasn't really any teams; they all just took turns rolling the ball and cheering for each other. Made it go by really fast and they spontaneous dance moves and singing while they waited....don't you love 6 year olds?!

There were moments where they broke into spontaneous high kick lines...
Back in the room they had pizza and punch and opened and played with their goody bags.

Lindsay wanted an ice cream cake for her dessert from Baskin Robbins... Chocolate cake with mint n' chip ice cream, her favorite!

Sweet smile says it all!

Madison was shy at first, then warmed up towards the end!

Lindsay got to go in the wind tunnel and collect tickets to use in the arcade. Each child got a few tokens to play and redeem a prize before they left.

I can't believe she's 6?! Where does time go?

Lindsay told me as we were driving home, "This was the funnest birthday ever!" LOL. Love you sweet girl!

More updates on Lindsay as a 6 year old coming soon...

  1. I'm so glad she liked it enough to make it her party dress! And that she had such a fun time at her party.
