After we visited Story Book Land, we decided to hit the shore for Andrew's first time at the beach (or shore as they say it here on the east coast). The nearest shore to the park was Atlantic City, which we'd never seen and it was only a 20 minute drive!

We drove through Atlantic City, expecting it to be like Las Vegas-on-the-Beach, but quickly realized it was pretty sketchy. I'm sure inside some of the casinos are really nice, but we were not about to find out. LOL. We found a beach entrance through a neighborhood and thankfully, since it was before Memorial Day, didn't have to buy beach badges. (Such a spoiled CA girl!)

Andy Boy loved the ocean and had fun watching the birds and his sisters play in the water.

It was a little chilly, but we put Drew's feet in the water...
He caught his breath and started kicking his legs (he loves to kick) and proceeded to splash me and get both of us wet. LOL.

Madison was so excited to play on the beach, and wouldn't stand still long enough to get a picture of her. She was running around collecting shells, rocks and seaweed.... both girls loved chasing waves and dipping their feet in the water.
Looking forward to some fun shore days this summer!!
