Lindsay's First Day of 1st Grade

 Look who's a FIRST GRADER!!

Lindsay Diane, 6.5 years old

The night before school we packed her lunch, Almond Butter and Strawberry Jelly sandwich, BBQ chips and Double Chocolate Brownie that we made especially for her first week of school. I asked her if she wanted to take an extra one for a friend, and she told me very matter-of-fact, "Mama, we aren't allowed to share each other's food!" There goes the black market lunch box trading. LOL.

 Lindsay was excited to wear her new dress and rainbow (her favorite) sneakers! She insisted that we curl her hair for the first day to look extra special.

 No holding hands as we got closer to the school entrance. Lol.

All about our 1st Grader...
Favorite Color: Lots, mainly Turquoise, Pink and Purple. Loves Rainbows.
Favorite Toy: Still can't sleep without her pink blanket ;)
Favorite Book: Magic Treehouse Series
Favorite Animal: Unicorn
Clothes Size: 6x
Shoe Size: 11 kids
Favorite Foods: Steak, Shrimp, Mashed Potatoes and gravy, Biscuits and gravy, most veggies including salad, and any sweets!
Food Dislikes: Cheese. With the exception of it on pizza.
Teeth Lost: 0 Possibly has one wiggly one on the bottom.

Lindsay had a wonderful first day of school, and really likes her new teacher, Mrs. Schantzer. She was thrilled to discover she had her own desk, where she could put her neatly organized pencil box. Lol.
