Oh boy, how is it March already?! I have some serious blogging to get caught up on.
Happy 6th Birthday to our Madison Grace!!
 |
| For her birthday breakfast she wanted homemade gf cinnamon rolls with berries... YUM! |
Her birthday fell during the week, and she was super excited to bring these flower 'dirt' cups as her birthday treat for her classmates...
 |
| chocolate pudding + gf oreo crumbles= Happy Kindergarteners |
Thankfully, Grammie was visiting during her birthday and helped me assemble a garden of pudding cups for her class.
The Saturday before her birthday our Gracie Girl wanted Cheesecake Factory for her birthday lunch.
 |
| Sweet Girls, thanks Grams, it was yummy! |
After our yummy lunch, Mama and Daddy surprised our girl with a riding lesson for her birthday! One of our neighborhood babysitters works at the stable and told us about her friend, Miss Camille, who gives riding lessons. She was so kind to show us around the stables and take her time showing our horse-lover all about caring for horses.

 |
| All fitted with her loaner riding helmet.. it had a bow in the back. Adorable! |
This picture says it all. She was so proud, and was just in pony heaven ;)
It was pretty muddy in the arena, but it was sunny and in the 50's, a perfect day to ride...especially in January! Miss Camille showed Madison all the commands and using the reins for her to ride Olivia. Madison rode her independently!
They did some exercises that were pretty tricky, like riding with no hands (eek!) and moving around the saddle and trotting. Madison ate it up with a spoon.
 |
| Look Mom! No hands! LOL. |
 |
| Madison got to take off Olivia's saddle and bring her back to the pasture. |
Andrew napped in the car and Lindsay got out and watched with us. She was such a patient and sweet big sis, and was really happy for Madison's dream come true.
 |
| Grammie and the kids doing a fun craft! |
After Madison got home from school on her real birthday, she had presents and we had a Magic School Bus themed birthday dinner...
 |
| Six years old... she loves science! |
 |
| Make a wish... |
For her birthday dinner she wanted Lemon Shrimp Pasta with Asparagus and chocolate cake for dessert!
Our expressive girl really enjoyed opening her gifts... can you tell?
Thank you family for all the gifts and cards, she felt so special on her birthday! We love you our Madison Grace, you bring more sunshine and laughter to our lives every year. How blessed we are to be your parents! Love you! Mama & Daddy
